Best Indoor RC Helicopters
Syma S107H-E RC-Helicopter with Altitude Hold
Specs
Flight Time: Flight time of 5 or 6 minutes
Range: 787 inches of flight range
What We Like
- It can be locked at a specific altitude
- Anti-collision for less damage if crashed
- Has 2 selectable frequencies
- One button take-off and landing function
The Syma S107H-E Remote Control Helicopter is a great RC option with a decent range and good safety features to make sure you don’t lose the unit.
S107H-E Features
This rc copter has an altitude hold that lets you set the maximum height that you want the helicopter to fly so that you won’t guide it too far into the air.
This also makes a great function for use indoors so that the helicopter won’t hit the ceiling.
It can also be used outdoors to ensure that the helicopter won’t get flown into tall trees and get stuck.
This Syma model comes with an anti-collision build that makes it more durable in the event of a crash. Accidents happen, and when they do, you don’t want them to damage or destroy your helicopter. So, this build keeps your unit from getting damaged and makes it more durable so that it lasts longer even when it gets into a few crashes.
There is also a one-button take-off which makes starting it up and getting it into the air much easier.
Just press one button and the helicopter will be lifted into the air and ready for you to tell it where to go.
This also keeps the helicopter at a certain altitude once it is in the air.
The durability of the helicopter’s build will also put your mind at ease should you or your child happen to crash the unit.
Syma S111G 3.5 Channel RC Helicopter with Gyro
|
The Syma S111G is very easy to fly and great for beginners. It is not very fast, but since it is an indoor helicopter I think that is preferred.
About the Manufacturer: Syma is based in China, but they have a very good reputation for creating quality RC choppers and quadcopters.
About the Product: Its flight characteristics are similar to the Syma 107G, very smooth and well balanced. Speed does not seem to be the emphasis for this RC helicopter, rather it is built to be steady, smooth and easy to fly.
It is solidly built, and can take hits well.
It can fly for around 5-8 minutes on one charge and takes around 40 minutes to charge.
In my opinion, you cant go wrong with the Syma S111G. The price is set very low, and its flies fantastic.

Syma S108G 3.5 Channel RC Helicopter with Gyro
|
Just like the Syma S107G, the Syma S108G is a classic. It has a military design, with missiles (dont worry, are just for looks).
This is another easy to fly, smooth flying micro helicopter from Syma, that is available at a very cheap price.
About the Manufacturer: See reviews above.
About the Product: The S108G is durable, and can take hits well. It is also easy to maneuver in the air.
It has a flying time of around 5-8 minutes on one charge.
It does seem to have more plastic in its design than the S107G, which may be a negative.
The S108G does seem more powerful and responsive than the S107G, which may make it more interesting to someone with a bit of experience flying RC helicopters.
These are our reviews of the top RC helicopters so far in 2024, we will be waiting to see what else this year will bring, and possibly update the list.

Can anyone tell me the best choice for a quadcopter or helicopter just for flying in my backyard (I don’t want a camera) that has great flight time? One catch, it has to be under $60. I have been searching for a very long time but the only thing I could find that I like was the Aukey Mohawk. I mean it looks great and all but I just feel like there could be a better one out there. Any help at all would be very appreciated thanks! -Chuck
Wltoys v911s
My question relates to battery life (not flight time). Have any brands solved the rechargeable battery problem? The helicopters with removable recharge-batteries could only be recharged a small number of times before a new recharge-battery had to be purchased. Which of course gets very expensive, very quickly.
So no matter how well the helicopter performed, the real price came from purchasing battery after battery. Any thoughts?
With proper storage voltage, LiPos used in most models can make it through hundreds of cycles.
Can you tell me the weight of WLTOYS V912 Large Remote Controlled Helicopter?
Ultimately your going to have to advance to collective pitch.hands down mikado helicopter.
I spent 5 years mastering collective pitch helicopter.aFfixed pitch hellicopter teaches all the wrong things to do,to advance to the end game of Rc heli.
